For Earth Day, the PTA and Jefferson Mall sponsored a "Litter Bug" contest, where students were asked to create their very own creature made completely from litter, recyclables or their own trash.  We had some very creative pieces come in!  Jefferson Mall kept them on display for 10 days in order to increase awareness to the public to recycle and not to litter. 

 1st Place Winner:  Makayla Martin-Ms. Wasz 2nd grade class "Fancy Peacock"

     2nd Place winner:  Logan Clifford-Ms.Moore's 1st grade class "Robot Litter Bug"     

 3rd Place winner: Keeley Salye-Ms. T Weathers 4th grade class
